Ecotourism

The Los Olivos Center offers the opportunity to learn first-hand about the ecological processes of harvesting and elaboration of one of the best oils in the world, awarded in various parts of the globe. From Monday to Friday, and by appointment, a guided tour is offered through all the Park’s facilities in which visitors will learn about the completely natural methods from planting, irrigation, pruning and harvesting, to obtaining and conserving products of the highest quality, both in healthiness and in texture and flavour. They will know the operation of the oil mill and the olive packaging chain, the only one in the Canary Islands. The tour ends with the tasting of these and other Canarian products and visitors can purchase any of them.

To offer unique and unrepeatable experiences, we hold workshops for our foreign visitors who wish to experiment using natural products and, of course, with the star element: organic olive oil.

These visits are managed through tour operators or agencies and always by appointment, by calling 620416431 or writing to adrielgrupofecsa@yahoo.es

The deal of
Los olivos

For more than 20 years, the dream of the owner of Los Olivos, D. Jose Luis Moreno, passionate about the natural and agricultural world, sees the light every day. 20 years of precious and constant experience harvesting with care and rigorously processing both the fruit of the olive tree and the so-called ‘liquid gold’ that it produces. A dream whose objective has always been to preserve, protect and care for the environment in all its forms of life.

The harvest of the olives is done by hand to prevent the fruit from suffering damage that alters its quality. Those destined for table consumption undergo the natural process of ‘sweetening’ and are packaged in the only existing olive packaging chain in the Canary Islands. With the rest of the fruit, an ecological first cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil is made: a delicacy for gourmets, endorsed by the gold stars achieved at the Superior Taste Award, the international festival in Brussels. The process ends in the exclusive oil cellar, the ideal place for the conservation of the so-called Canarian Olive oil.
